"I have spent a great deal of time staring at your art and I swear the French coined the term "je ne sais quoi" just for you. I can't describe it, but I really like the way your art makes me feel."

I Want A Beehive Hairdo
Artist's Statement

I painted some of the things I want. You buy the painting, I do the thing.

Oh, to wear a beehive all day, running errands in my light industrial neighbourhood!.
I'll go shopping at the Freshco in the Galleria Mall accompanied by a Mariachi band.
I will look fabulous in a beadwork cuff by Adam Garnet Jones.
When I tire of the Mariachi band, I'll fly to Cuba for an all-inclusive vacation.
Exhausted from dancing on the beach, I'll return to the Canadian wilderness and go to the lake.
By the campfire, I'll listen to the coyotes howl.
Maybe we'll speak some Cree.
Then I'll have peace of mind.
I want to sell this painting.
I want it all.
Show at the Women's Art Association of Canada was interrupted by Covid-19,
but we had our opening party!
